I am originally from near Philadelphia, PA and attended college at Millersville University. After college, I moved to Statesboro, GA where I got my Master's in Biology at Georgia Southern University. I lived and worked in the southeast for 17 years before moving to Colorado in 2015. I work for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as land bird coordinator for the Mountain-Prairie Region. I help support conservation and research on declining birds like Sprague's Pipit, Thick-billed and Chestnut-collared Longspurs, Baird's Sparrow, and Pinyon Jay. My wife and I have a daughter in 3rd grade (2020-21) and twin boys who turned 4 in Nov 2020. I periodically get out my guitar and play songs until the kids complain, which doesn't take too long.
